BENEFITS: This LED tactical grade multi function flashlight is the first Dual Head 3 WATT CREE 3 AAA compact with 5 375-380 nano meter Ultra Violet LEDs that we know of. Rather than having to carry two separate flashlights this two headed design saves space and weight. This design has the benefits of low cost 3 AAA batteries and the high energy efficiency of a genuine US made premium grade super white and bright Cree XRE P4 LED. It’s built in a trim and compact body considering it’s dual head and dual thumb switches. The switches are solidly built and water tight. The 35mm OD head is not overly large, like many other LED flashlights so it will not be banging your arm while you are walking with it in a belt pouch. This makes it an excellent EDC (Every Day Carry). The exterior of the head has machined flutes which steadies it and prevents it from rolling off hard flat surfaces. The tube section is textured with cross groves to insure a firm grip. The matt black coating also aids as a nonslip finish. This length is perfect for working hands free by placing it under your armpit.
The precision angled reflector generates a big outer moon and a very nicely formed tight center spot for a long throwing beam. We tested it side by side against a 3 watt Luxeon two to three times this price which is known for it’s distance and this light far out performed it even in heavy rain to a distance of 300 feet / 100 yards. This flashlight is a keeper.
